MEMORIAL FOUNDATION HOPE LODGE
Join us in supporting the Memorial Foundation Hope Lodge
Facing cancer is hard. The Hope Lodge program reduces financial strain, makes treatment more accessible and improves the quality of life for thousands of cancer patients every year.
Each Hope Lodge offers cancer patients and their caregivers a free place to stay when their best hope for effective treatment may be in another city. Hope Lodge provides a nurturing, home-like environment where guests can retreat to private rooms or connect with others.
Every Hope Lodge also offers a variety of resources and information about cancer and how best to fight the disease. More than just a roof over their heads, it’s a nurturing community that helps patients access the care they need.
In 2021 all 30 Hope Lodge locations throughout the United States, including right here in Nashville, safely re-opened to people with cancer and their caregivers after operations were suspended in March 2020 due to the onset of the COVID-19
pandemic.
The Nashville location offers 41 guest rooms located near treatment centers in the area.
This year, Discovery Ball is restricting contributions to Hope Lodge so that patients have a place to call home and can focus on the most important thing: getting
well.

On average the Hope Lodge Nashville program serves 1,400 individual cancer patients and caregivers yearly.

Guests from around 17 states have traveled to Nashville, TN for cancer treatment and stayed at the Nashville Hope Lodge.

On average the Nashville Hope Lodge provides 18,200 free nights of lodging to patients and their caregivers each year.

Priceless - The community of support, social interaction, and comfort for cancer patients and their caregivers.

This year we will celebrate 17 years of service. Since opening we have served 26,000 guests, and provided 140,000 nights of free lodging.

Yearly, the Nashville Hope Lodge saves patients an estimated $2.3 Million in hotel expenses.

The Hope Lodge has enabled outpatient cancer patients from 6 referring Nashville hospitals to receive treatment.

Not having to worry about where to stay and how to pay for it allows cancer patients to focus on one thing: getting well.
